Talking Iowa Speedway Track Video

this is a video taken sunday sept 9th at Iowa Speedway. the camera is attached to Mr Ron Hix and he's supposed to be following me but apparently he decides to leave me for some of the taping. it was good to see what i need to work on and what i was doing well. thanks again ron for helping me out. i added some sweet music to it too. gets me all pumped to hit the track again.

In case you are watching the videos and wondering why the bike is getting so "loose" in the left hander corners, here's the rear tire that I was running while shooting the video.

Notice that there is literally zero tread on the left hand side of the tire and you can clearly see the cords all the way around.

The fact that you can run these tires to the VERY BITTER END and they are still predictable is amazing.

You must be a total headcase to ride your tires when they look like that.

All the left turns can't help much. Looks like they just set up some cones to make the oval more interesting and used pit road?

+1 Those tires are shot! You should have flipped that bad boy at lunch.

I agree though. My tires don't look much better on either side since I did flip em. But we ran pretty hard during the afternoon and those Pirelli's were still very predictable.

In Pirelli we trust......

wink i don't know why you bothered even changing yours. they looked fine even with the 4" of cords showing.

hell even by the end of the weekend i finally have to replace mine bc the left side is shot. thankfully not as much as these fools but replaceable none the less.

Ok fine... here is my tire from the SV at Iowa Speedway. Note the nice shape of the left side...

Definitely a left handers paradise!
