WTF, Greg White was a racer?

He didn't even qualify! When they showed video of him qualifying, he wasn't even pushing it! He wasn't tucked in on the straights. I watched his blogs on Speed this week. Maybe he should have done some riding on the track, and less conditioning. What a blown opportunity. I'm sure he did the best he could, but I was hoping to see something more then this.

He amazes me with his uselessness.

Yep, cuz stepping on a factory Suzuki in the last round of the season at a track known to be extremely challenging against some of the best riders in the world is cake.

Take it easy on Greg...and go ahead and try to match some of his best times from when he actually WAS racing full time. I can assure you he was plenty fast.

How often do you get that kind of opportunity? I would have won pole or wadded that thing up like a real man. Hell I had no problem crashing bikes I actually OWNED. This thing would have been brought back in a Dixie cup.

I'm not saying it was easy. But if wasn't sure he could pull of at least qualifying, isn't it kind of embarrassing? I would have taken the opportunity as well. But he didn't seem to be trying to hard.

Even the team members were kind of like WTF?

I was just kind of let down.

Price out a factory superstock bike lately? Try $15k for the shock.

Should have been cheering for the reporter I was working for this weekend there greg. Steve Atlas on the #581 Corona supersport ride. 17th with only a couple hours of practice and setup time

I can assure you that the Championship winning Yoshimura Suzuki Superstock bike is worth far more than $15k

He's been racing a 600 in the WERA endurance. Plenty conditioned, I'd think, but there's a big difference between a 600 and a factory superstock. Shit, I'd go slower on a bone stock Gix1k than I do on my own bike. Then the thought of writing off a factory bike for the privilege of being on the last row of the grid? Eh, no thanks. But then, I'm not a racer.
