An automobile with 1-2 axle trailers is considered a medium size truck.

Possible.
But the good ole days when they just let you pay .40 ,because they didn't know what to charge are gone. Maybe I just need to get a funhauler and screw packing my car like a sardine can.

If you go through the manual lanes, you get charged by the axle. If I am not mistaken, you need a separate I-Pass for the vehicle you drive AND the trailer you are pulling so every time you go through you are charged the corresponding rate.

When we went to Putnam, Psycho had an I-Pass just marked trailer.

No, you don't need a separate unit for the trailer. Apparently the ORT lanes are smart enough to figure out what you're driving/towing and will adjust the toll accordingly.

You could always buy a soccer mom van like Biggy and load the bike in there. No more excessive toll worries.

I been writing letters since the new rates started. I tow a 1 axle camper and I get charged the same rate. I think it's crap because motor homes are charged the .40 car rate because they have RV playes.

so what your saying is that the Over the road tolling system will adjust your account accordingly eventually? because if I understand it correctly a single axle trailer should be $.75 right?

Nope, you pay the same as a 2 axle or a truck.

The I90 tolls to Rockford are the worse. A toll every focken 10 minutes. Motherfocken highway robbery, literally.

We don't have an IPass being that we don't need it, and saved nearly $400 this summer by completely avoiding toll roads altogether. (Lots of trips from the Mil to Grattan, GMan, Mid-Ohio, and Autobahn)

Sucks that you guys have no easy way to get from Chi to BHF without taking the toll roads tho.
