I would for sure go if I could Beaz. I have a weeding on Saturday in Benton Harbor and I also have the kids this weekend. Just to much on my plate and not enought time. Trust me I wish I could go.

dam i wish i had the money to go again! I had a blast when i went in april, bet it'd be a lot more fun with the fixed surface.

i remember they had to put a cone to cover a few potholes on turn 10 'the far corner'...nice!

The new surface is very grippy. Its smoother but still not ideal. The bumps still upset your suspension quite a bit through the carousel.

Yeah, I agree. More grip, but the same exact bumps underneath since they just paved over them. It is better though, no doubt.

In comparison, the portion of the track that did not get the repave had some spots with surprisingly limited grip even though the track was 100% dry and the temps were not too cold on Sunday...the patching in Turn 2 especially, but also turn 3 and 4.

I improved my lap times by about 3 to 4 seconds, the repave certainly was a big part of that.

I saw the patch at the exit of turn 3 almost highside a guy in front of me. He had to check his shorts after that one.
