Thats a sweet trailer. Rob approves.
Advantage trailer used to be right down the street from MCC, and they did the hitch install on my G, and I bought my old Kendon from them. Good people.

Once I move, whenever the hell that will be now, I'll have plenty of room. For now, it will stay at a storage location near my house where the bikes are currently. It's literally a mile from my house in Arlington Heights. I won't get one right now, but it's obvious I will need one soonish. I am hoping to be moved by the end of April. I have a bunch of work being done and it keeps getting delayed...

Mort, you are an instigator.

I would definitely get a diesel
a V8 tundra would pull that trailer, but your gas mileage would not be pretty
the new 5.7 with the 6-speed might do ok though....

You will get between 5 and 10 on the highway pulling your 10 thousand dollar parachute that you posted above with a Tundra. If you get a Diesel like BH posted and you keep it below 70 you should get 15 to 20. You can't get a much better tow vehicle than that ford power stroke.

I get between 15 and 17 on the highway in my big ugly 1983 GMC van fully loaded with 2 bikes and all my gear and equipment.

Tundras are badass for basic light duty hauling. For something like the above, you'll need a diesel. If you're going to get a Powerstroke, get it now. The 2009-later models will be turds. (I have some inside info on them)

Paul I priced one of those trailers out over at advantage in lombard, it about 17K . and you will want a 3/4 ton truck to pull it

Advantage had a couple of those in stock.

oh and sense it has a bathroom, it can written off as a second home

It really isn't that big of a deal, but the other day when I was telling the wife of all the stuff that Paul has purchased recently and now this post of the trailer.

She said that since his accident and being close to death he needs to fill his life with possesions because it scared him and now he's affraid of how long he might have left.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but before his accident I don't think many of us really knew that he has money or did Paul even show or actl like he did.

Don't matter to me, still think you are a great guy and want to go riding, just as long as its possible for us poor people to tag along.

Makes sense. I had a similar reaction when my best friend was killed in a motorcycle accident, after I was nearly killed some time ago myself. I went buck-wild buying things and trying to live like the end was just around the corner. I justified it by pointing to what happened and thinking that I wasn't going to get my card pulled without getting my money's worth.
Money: you can't take it with you when you go and you can always make more while you're here.
Having stuff doesn't really fix or soothe the uncertainty though.
