What do you have left to do before the start of the seaon?

Well Blackhawk is only one month away! How much work do you still have left to do on your bike before the season starts? I think I'm in pretty good shape

-Loctite rearset bolts
-mount new tires
-order and install seat for new bodywork
-Fix wiring on trailer
-get trailer wiring harness for car
-install stomp grip
-buy generator

im guessing a full service

off the top of my head, oil change, chain/throttle/clutch cable lube, flush coolant, clean air filter.

and id like to track the 250 so put track tires on, sign up for track day and track prep the bike.

I have way too much to do not to mention I need to buy some blinkers and mirrors to make the bike street legal again.

The only thing I may have some trouble with due to inexperience is drilling holes for safety wire.

A ton o' stuff and I sure don't want to be doing any of it in the paddock at BHF, so I'm praying for a little warmer weather so I can:

Reinstall forks (back from Race-Tech)
Reset front and rear sag
Install digital gear indicator
Finish minor repaint and numbers
Oil
Radiator drain and flush, refill
New tires
Brakes, pads and new fluid
New taillights for trailer
Go to Freddie's 4/29-30

Is that enough?

Oil changes and swap water wetter for coolant... then switch wheels and plastics 1 or 2 days before the track weekend. Thats it and we're ready to roll.

I'm all ready to rock. I've been busting my balls on the race bike for about the last 5 or 6 days. It's all finished and ready to go and I just gave it shake down blasting around the neighborhood. It looks like Grattan this weekend and Putnam the weekend after. All my spares are together, new easy up, new tires on both bikes.

Where's the warm weather? This cold shit is getting old.

I put mine back on the trailer last night and backed it into the garage.

1. Change back to Water Wetter when it STAYS above freezing.
2. Repair stripped threads on frame for bodywork mounting.
3. Clean/Lube chain just because.
4. Get to the dam track and ride

I had prepped everything before I left for Iraq just in case I didn't come home, and the wife had to sell it through Odyssey. Actually saved me a lot of headaches this Spring. It is Spring, isn't it
