I got it off the CCS forum. It was in detroit area. my parents live about 30 min away from there and they have been bugging me to come home. I was just about to buy one from wise and then I was that one so it all worked out.

i'm pretty sure an inverter connected to your car will kill the battery

a generator without the inverter will be cheeper, but louder and bigger.

a generator with an inverter like this honda is quiet and light. it's expensive but they hold their resale value well and last forever. can't go wrong with a honda eu series. the people you pit next to you will thank you for not having a noisy generator.

+1

Even a small standalone tends to be on the loud side, like my Coleman powermate. The Honda EU's can be running at full load right next to you and you would be able to carry on a conversation without raising your voice.

Man, I just might have to run by that place in Fischers that Drama linked to awhile back and pick one of these up. I've wanted one for a LONG time.

I have that same one and love it. Is the next model up, the 3000 I think, just as quiet? I haven't seen one live. Nice price, too!
