I have no complaints about Chicago Cycle ... They've been cool to me.

Wanna talk about crappy service ... Champion cycle on Western is the worst in my book. It took them 3 weeks to replace the ignition lock, after someone crammed something into the lock trying to steel the bike.

Dante: [to Randal] You never go ass-to-mouth!
Randal: [to Dante] Would you grow up!
Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

That implies they'd actually honor any warranty they sold to begin with.

Jeremy,

When you going to get it through your head.. CHICAGO CYCLE DIDNT SCREW YOU ON YOU WARRANTY. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY DID NOT COVER YOUR TRANSMISSION DO TO "MISSHIFT"

Chicago Cycle didnt say no. Your extended warranty did. Did you buy the extended warranty from us? Yes But they say the cover manufactor defects and they felt your bike was not a manufactor defect.

But I digress. Maybe next time you can say. Dont buy a extended warranty at Chicago Cycle but I got a hell of a deal on my bike. Ohhh wait. That might be the truth.

Sorry fred, i guess when i spend an extra $2,000 on coverage for my bike I expect to have any problems that arise fixed. As for it being my fault, do a search for transmission problems on kawi forums for the 05/06 zx6r. Also note kawi now recognized THEIR DESIGN FLAW and fixes this problem under their warranty, it is NOT the fault of the riders.

The guy you handed me off to swore the extended warranty would cover any problems I might have for my bike, so i bought it, first time in for a problem, denied. Chicago cycle should have picked up the bill, they sold me the warranty and told me it would cover any problems, also I spent over $15k in that store before that incident, you'd think my business would mean a little more.

Here is where it gets even better, I asked for a refund on the remainder of the warranty, i was told it woudl be no problem, I went back and forth with the finance department for WEEKS giving them any and all documentation they asked for. Then i started getting the "check is in the mail" bullshit, then they just stopped returning my calls all together. I never go the refund, I never got any warranty work, I never got anything.

And Fred, Don't get pissed at me, I have never once said anything bad about you personally, my beef is with chicago cycles and how it takes care of it's customers after they leave the store with their new bike.

PS: Chicago cycle: I find it funny you're holding a customer appreciation event, your customers would appreciate honoring your word a lot more.

Fred,

I hate to pick sides as I know nothing of this incident in particular, but if Chicago Cycle gets its reputation because of it's partnership with the warranty company, choose a new warranty company. Pick an extended warranty that represents Chicago Cycle how you feel they should be represented.

Jeremy,

I do understand why your upset. I guess I am starting to take is personal becuase i did a lot to get you that deal on that bike. Not one time did I see a thank you or even a post on the great deal you got. Only the bad stuff.

Since I am the service manager and I can do something on my end to try to make amends with you and Chicago Cycle. Come on in and I will give you free maintenance on your bike. Its something I can do on my end.

Honestly, I really dont know much more that I can do. I tried everything back then. Come on in to the service department and I will get it on a maintenance contract for you.

Anyways, The structure is 3 groups. Just like STT and others. Novice, Intermediate, advanced.

The reason so cheap is because it is sponsored so its keeping the price down. I am going and so is a few other guys from my service department on sunday. No need for the "voiding warranty" comments.

It will be a lot of fun. I am looking forward to it.

Long live the Blue Dot!!!!
