sportmax d218s ok for track?

The last two trackdays I did I had pilot powers on my sv650. Now I have the k4 gixxer and it came with these sportmax tires, they only have 3k on them and are in good shape. I was going to do intermediate my next trackday but I think I'll do novice because I want to be sure I'm comfortable on the new bike. I just want to make sure it's not dangerous on these tires.

I would guess new 218s are good for Beginner & possibly back of Intermediate. I'd try not to run 3000 mile old 218s in I if at all possible.

First time after a bump you'll prolly ride faster than you ever have. Doing that on old shoes & hard ones at that, is asking for trouble IMHO.
