BHF CCS. The Aftermath

Can we say HOT?

Sat was more of a crash fest than sun. Couple broken collarbones, 1 broken foot, 1 concussion and a partridge in a pear tree. Sun was a bit better serious crash wise.

But theres a new track record. 1'08.66 by Robert Jensen of ND.

Had to bring back one certain member here with the crash truck. I guess he decided that he didnt want to lead the race anymore after another CLSB racer tossed it while leading. Everyone was OK though.

Oh BTW finally met ill_ag.

I went down coming out of Turn 5. Tweaked my ankle up and right wrist (I got some fat fingers now). Learned a lot though. Hope everyone heals up from their crashes!

Riding hurt just sucks. Flogging a dying bike as the rest of the field passes you is no fun either. I guess sometimes you just gotta "lean into the dip".

In the end, I am just glad to be alive and able to ride.

Yeah, I'm mostly OK I guess. I gotta get some MRI's done today to see what is wrong with my knee and wrist.

Hate to be a naysayer but coming from a sports background MRI's are nearly worthless. Bone Scan's and CT scans seem to be more helpful. $.02
