Tyre recomendations for Autobahn this weekend

Does anyone have any recomendations as to which tyres to run this at Autobarn north?

I was thinking Bridgestone BT014's. The bike is a Honda VTR1000F SuperHawk.

It's an STT weekend right? They sell Michelin Pilot Powers cheaper than you will find anywhere, and it makes a great all-round track/street tire.

Tyre? How about "Tire".

Run the Michelin Pilot Powers. You will not be disappointed. A set cost roughly 250 bucks at the track if you are a STT member.

What's your pace. If it's your first track day or running in B and you have Bto14s that's OK. But if you are buying DO NOT BUY THOSE. I ran track days all last years on those and felt like they did more harm than good in the confidence category. Pilot powers at the STT prices can't be beat. Show up early and get them changed at the track.

Ok thanks for the info, looks like I will try a set of Pilots out then.

Tyre/Tire who cares both are correct spelling and have the same meaning. I have had the American/British English argument too many times to remember.
