Midwest Motorsports Festival @ BHF Cancelled

Midwest Motorsports Festival is cancelling the event to be held at Blackhawk Farms Oct 11&12 due to low turn out, lack of entries.
It is unfortunate we were not able to produce the entries needed to support such a huge purse for this event.
It should be understood that we will be refunding all participant and sponsor related fees within the next few days and that while we are taking a significant financial loss we will make sure that no one else is compromised in the process. I do understand and expect that there will be some level of fall-out from this decision and Midwest Motorsports Festival (MMSFest) will be happy to address or respond to any issues, questions, or problems that may be presented as a result of this position.

The cost of the sport is very expensive. Especially with the way the economy is going people are making more responsible and logical financial decisions. I know I am. But I can't lie, if there was a class for me to run my machine in I would have preregistered months ago. I'm sure a lot of hard work went into organizing the event. I'd like to give a big SALUTE! to those who were involved!
