So, Dovi to Yamaha then?

Spies is right though, Dovi will get you podiums, Spies can get wins...that said, you can only fall on "bad luck" for so long. Spies has certainly had plenty of that this year.

Don't know why but I have never liked Spies. Never have never will. Don't know if its because his mother sucked her way to the top for her son or what. He is wasting a valuable seat in the Yamaha GP's. Move the f over and let someone else in.

I can relate to that. I've woken up in several hotel rooms and there's like a 5 or 10 second period where you're like "Where the fuck am I?" I hate that shit.

Ha, his 3 consecutive AMA titles over Mladin in the midst of his prime, a WSBK title on a new bike in a new series on new tires at new tracks while setting the all time pole position record and GP podiums in his first season and a win in his second (should have been two) had nothing to do with it? Come on man, it's fine if you don't like him, but the dude deserved every chance he's been given. I have a feeling this was a mutually agreed to decision, if not pushed by Spies.

We all know that (just like Nicky Hayden's 2006 title) it was a gift from Haga.

I'd like to see him back in WSBK. The racing is much more exciting. If Suzuki were to be making a comeback to GP, I doubt we'd be seeing him fighting for wins anyway. My guess is that they'd use their first year back to catch up in terms of development.

Exactly why there would be less pressure on him to obtain results & why it might be a good fit. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him on a Zook in WSBK, where they are thin on results of late.

I know it's a huge ask, but I seriously doubt Spies will ever be at the sharp end in MotoGP for more than the odd race, regardless of ride or timing. Given his WSBK & early GP progress, I thought he had a shot to battle up front after getting the factory spot. Instead, he has gone backwards.

And as much as I love Rossi, he should have left on top. Everyone has 20/20 hindsight, but he is ruining one of the best legacies ever built on 2 wheels IMHO.
