Hayden to WSBK?

Nicky is 'considering' offers...
http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2013/Jul/130710owb.htm

I have to admit I'd rather watch Nicky wining WSBK races then floating around mid-pack on a shit bike for another couple seasons. And being the first rider to have GP and WSBK titles would be a nice notch in the belt.

I wonder if Honda would woo him back through the PATA Team? Ape is giving bikes away and Beemer still seems like a WIP to me - Duc, Yami and Zuk seem to be mid pack at best and not sure where the Kwacker fits in outside of Sykesie

The Honda is the worst bike on that grid. Rea is crashing that thing left and right riding the wheels off it in an attempt to stay near the front.

He has shown promise on it and 2014 is rumored for a re-design too

Ape has stepped in as the "Duc Cup" for WSBK and Kawi is the Honda of old against Duc.....if that makes any sense

I'm not quite sure how old Nicky is but he's been around long enough to where he definately has more of his racing career in the rear view mirror than out in front of him. WSBK would be a good place for him to wind down his career. He still has the skills but, it would definately be easier for him to be and remain competitive in WSBK than it has been in MotoGP. If he went to Kawasaki getting him on one of the Werner/Springsteen milers would be a possibility and then he could take a crack at Indy or Springfield to complete the dirt track slam...............Oh what a great race/comeback that would be!

Don't they call all this speculative BS the "silly season" ?

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!

Nicky just tweeted this 5 minutes ago.

"Not saying what yet, but tomorrow will be the start of a new chapter for me. Excited about the future...... #StartingFresh"

Guess we'll all find out tomorrow.
