qatar 2016

first race of the season in the books.

looks like most of the grid still has to get used to the new tires.

the ducatis are freakin fast this season. would have loved to see vinales get around dani and see what happens.

also glad vale was up in the lead group. too bad no podium though

yeah I have a feeling the Ducati's will do better than last year. The re passing of Marquez at the end of the race shows they will not fizzle out at the end of the race. Withe Ducati's choice to go soft soft on the tire choice I thought for sure they would run out of tire in the end. Little bummed at Rossi's 4th but he showed he will be in the mix as he had a couple lap record times throughout the race. Just happy Moto GP has started again. I was going through withdrawals as supercross has filling the void until now.

I'm stoked the season has started again, The way Dovi and Ionone flew by Lorenzo on the 1st lap was awesome (like he was sitting still). It should be a good year.

I didn't look at the rules this year
Is ducati even up or are there concessions like more fuel /tire choices etc?

i think there's no more concessions... everyone's using the same electronics, so that's supposed to level the playing field
