alot of racing the last few days. ama at road america, isle of man, and motogp in barcelona.

that was a great gp race! good tribute to luis

nice to see rossi and marquez shake hands and kind of put things behind them. vale has still got alot of racing in him, although the competition is getting faster and younger. aside from starting second row, and then getting pushed back a few spots at race start, i didn't see him make many mistakes.

my takeaway, it seems like marquez has 'matured' a bit. last season, he seemed like he had the mindset to win everything at all costs, and he got reckless and made mistakes. this year, you hear him talk about 'ok its the points, etc.' not trying to get to the front every race.

as far as lorenzo/iannone... he was losing pace after vale passed him, and kept loisng ground through the rest of the race. i think iannone was expecting a certain pace from jorge's entering that turn, and jorge continued to slow. can't fault iannone 100%. but he became an excuse for jorge's bike's failure.

if they didn't collide, jorge would have said something's wrong with the bike.

anyways, great race, vale

Loved that race and laughed my ass off when Crazy Joe Endo'ed into YourGay

Was happy to see Zuk up there for a bit too

Very entertaining race. Always curious as to what goes through Lorenzo's mind when he starts going backwards. I can't recall the last race where he had to come up through the pack and gut it out for a win/podium. He's oddly consistent at getting out front and staying there, and at worst hanging in for a podium. If 3 people get in front of him with more than a few laps left it seems like he fires up the excuse machine and looks for a good place to pull off track. (assisted or otherwise)

great race, love the fact that Rossi can still do it. thank you maniac joe - he took out the guy who will be replacing him next year. RIP Louis.
