Talking New monster in d house!!

I did jump the tracks , sold all my Nikon stuff and went with Canon.
Yesterday Fedex delivered my new toy:
Canon 5D Mark II
24-105L F4 lens
and 580EXII flash.
Holy crap this is a one big heavy camera.
Comparing to my sold D90 this is a different world.
IQ - wow, High ISO - holy shit. This one doesn't have a popup flash, but with the high ISO I donít think will be needed that much.
It's not the fastest camera in the world but AF works faster than on the D90.
So far Iím very impressed, I will take more photos on the weekend when weather improves.

Congrat's on the new camera!

But...

I'm really curious why you went this route? It's a great camera for sure, but do you really need a $3800 kit with a slow-ish f4 lens?

I'm not bashing, I am truly interested to know your reasoning.

21 meg, better high ISO (D90 can't even stand close to it),
extended ISO range (50-25000), better viewfinder 98% coverage
FF sensor, better DOF (I love this the most), more wide angle (I lost here on distance), awesome IQ, Max shutter 1/8000 sec, 1080 Video, and for last
Canon makes more superior lenses "L" and they cost a little less than Nikon.
So far I love it. I do most of the time portraits and landscape, and slowly I'm trying to build small photo studio.

I snap this photo yesterday in small church
no flash
105mm
ISO 1250
F4
1/125

High ISO handling is awesome.
