I have a rule to only use pictures that I took myself as Desktop backgrounds and in some cases I would take abstract pictures specifically for this purpose or process and frame shots so they can be used for that purpose

These are cool pictures. but may be I should of make myself clearer, this thread was intended to show wallpapers that you took yourself and that's why I put it in photographers corner and not in open forum.

I was specifically interested if people are shooting with intention to use it as wallpaper or post process with same intention, vs just taking a picture you like and .using it as wallpaper

oh, and thanks for compliments
