Shooting-1000fps-video-with-a-canon-7d

This is a cool article and video of a plug-in program for adobe, etc. It emulates 1000fps from the 7D's 60 fps. I'm guessing my D90 would look the same. Pretty neat stuff, although expensive. I could see this making for some nice cornering videos at a race / track day.

Due to the nature of what it's doing and how it's doing it, I would think track days would not look as good as you might hope. Still cool, but I can see where awesome results worth that money would be very limited.

Oh, I definitely would not pay for that software, but my buddies who do a lot of Video are supposed to get a copy. We shall see.

For track days it would have to be a stationary shot (no autofocus), kind of like the slow mo portions of the Isle of man TT on HDnet.
