HDR pic Thread

I figured we should have fun with this and throw up all the HDR shots you have done.

I would like to go in and brush-exposure down to get rid of the halo around the front of the car on this one. It was one of my first I did but still one of my faves.

Do you have any good links to describe how these are taken. I know the theory but still haven't messed with it. What editing program are you using?
Sweet pic!

I don't like hdr that look like hdr. At that point it has more to do with computer graphics when an actual photo. But sometimes its a good way to get out the shadows and blacks without over blowing the highlights. But it depends who likes what. I don't have to many hdrs, but here are few.

rest is done in photoshop or with photomatix
If you shoot outside you have to take photos quickly if to slow you might have a problem with clouds moving all over the place.

ps: If you have Mac shoot me a pm, I have codes for Photomatix

How many shots did you use for this? some people use only 3, some people use 9... from +/- 2 or +/- 3? also, did you use photoshop? or photomatix?

I'm not big fan of it being too digitized, just makes things look fake. Looks like this works well for night shots.

much appreciated, its my favorite shot as everything lined up perfect for me. I was racing the clouds on the dirt roads in dekalb until I got a good road and clouds. While I was en route to my stores. It was an extended lunch
