need nightshot tips

anyone got tips for nightshots for a digital camera. I was trying to do moon shots and nothing really came out right.

Not to shabby. Now ya just need a 400 or 800 zoom lens.

that was my 300mm which wasn't enough. 800 would probably make it awesome, but i'm not a baller yet,


I was trying to do cool stuff with the clouds, but none of it turned out too well, on that night.

thought of you the other morning sitting at work and noticed it was a full moon

100% crop, didnt adjust crap really.

300mm F6.3 1/80 ISO100 (hand held), wishing i had a tripod. image is kinda flat
