picked up another new camera

well after messing around with Canon A560 for a while i found out i could NOT manually control Av or Tv so i upgraded alittle more and got some other cool features aswell as IS on the camera too.

tony compared it to a mini SLR, so for now till i learn how to take better shots ill use this for a WHILE then upgrade to those fancy smacy cameras

Just stop dicking around and get that D40. I've learned so much about cameras in the few months I've had mine, and I'm still learning how to use it. It's the last camera body I'll need to buy for a long time.

You don't need to drop a few thousand on a 'rig', the D40 costs under $600 and is friggen awesome:

I pay about $3/month for 5GB of hosted storage with 1and1.com. The free places all suck, they either limit file sizes or the service is constantly hosed up. You get what you pay for.

Also, you can't get DOF control in a compact camera like you can with an SLR lens:

I suggest that you register if you haven't on dpreview.com in their forums. Post your photo's there (you'll need to host them somewhere since you can't upload there). You will probably get a lot more responses as well as a fair amount of variety.

Oh and as for feedback, nice shot. I keep wanting to look over to the right where it's a bit out of focus. So to me, I would have liked to see it in focus more on the right and the 'bokeh' then starting to the left.
