I have still yet to see a cicada. I've heard them though, they are loud as hell over there on 53 just before Ferry Rd. where all those trees are.

Go to North Riverside,any residential street will do.
My brother lives there, & you can hardly see the grass, it's covered with brown shells.The live ones fly around & hang from trees and crawl & are everywhere.
And the stink of rotting cicada carcasses is HORRIBLE!

saw one this morning in the railraoad yard hangin out on a switchhandle. wasn`t beinng noisy though probably too cold for the bugger
