The chrome is colored because it's reflecting a portion of the car paint.

it's actually a pretty cool shot. I had some similar to that when I got my first Zaino kit and tried it out on my MINI. I couldn't believe the gloss/shine/reflectivity on the paint. I didn't have trees in the shot, but did capture a bunch of cool clouds. I'll have to see if I can find those.

Comp. looks fine. These types of pics are really hard to achieve what your eye is seeing.
1. The object you are shooting is black
2. The reflection object is pure white (sun)
3. You are shooting and focusing on a reflection!

All in all I think you did pretty good. Your little camera does a pretty good job and +1 to Finding the Shot! Most people overlook stuff like that.

Cool looking shot, though.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Nice shot. Don't let the hater's grind you down.

Interesting shot. I would crop out the top a little and leave the title off. More interesting if you look at it and try to figure out what it is. Big part of photography is finding interesting view points and narrowing them down...example...shot of a big crowd, might not be that exciting, but zoom in and get a closeup of one person walking through a crowd and makes for a good shot. I see that here along with the ambiguity of "what am I looking at" I think it makes for a nice overall package. Sure there's some post processing I might do or reshoot it a few more times, but overall gets a thumbs up from me.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
