trackbike stills

i need to improve my skills all around for taking pictures, but all i have been doing lately is on-track shots. so why not try some nice stills?

input would be much apprecated.

pics taken with Nikon D70 that i just learned how to turn on.

First mistake. also rule of 3rds.

I'm guessign you still have that set on Shutter Priority mode and runnning at 1/250 or something like that.? try program mode, or Appature priority mode and do this anytime but high noon.

better yet, just take it over to Bills and have him throw some model on it

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Do you have the D70's manual? If not download it from NikonUSA.com .

BTW what firmware is on it? 1.1 or 2.0?

You buying it from him?

I've had mine since 5/04 and its been great. No BSOD. Never failed to power up. Only complaint is lack of wired remote. I love it when someone comes up and says theirs is better because it has 8MP (or whatever). Then to find out I still take better pictures than they do.
