Baha'i House of Worship

Being an Architect, and living on the northshore, I have always driven (drove???) past this building and wanted to take photos of it. So tonight I ran out there just a dusk and snapped a few pics with the new D300. I like how this one turned out:

cool place. used to get high there at night with an ex-panther working security back in the 70s

I was suppose to go to that Temple for my world religions class. being as it was way in the suburbs, I just looked it up on the net and wrote the paper. I got an A too. Nice picture though. The architecture inside the building and by the doors is really intricate.

u live in niles and didn't go? wtf? Aside from hanging and working out in the gardens I've been to 4-5 weddings there. It is a special spot. GO THERE!

Tommy got a D300? DAYUM I'm jealous. I'll actually be shooting with a D300 and a D3 tomorrow. The new Nikon stuff is the BEST for any type of low light situation.

+1 Cool spot. I'm not all that religious anymore, but I have been inside during the day and the place is definitely something different and cool.

BTW Blade Runner, by working out, I am guessing some martial arts/meditation in the garden areas, no?

Nice night time shot VTEC Did you use a tripod?

Yes, I got myself a nice little Christmas present in the form of a D300 and battery grip. 8 fps track shooting here I come! 8 frames per second is probably considerable overkill for the track, but its always nice to know its there.

Anyways, yes, I had to use a tripod for this shot. It was a 3 second exposure. I will have to get back out there on a sunny day to take some more pictures.
