New toy

Just recently picked up a Canon 40D with the 28-135 kit lens. Replaced an old Canon point and shoot...Got tired of missing a lot of good shots of my kid. Plus, I've become very interested in HDR images and landscape stuff. Now I just need to grab some additional, and faster lenses.

It's been a while since I last posted here, but planning to change that. Been busy with work and a new baby.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I've always been a fan of Canon products. But in truth it really came down to how the camera felt in my hands, and the 40D just felt better to me. Only other choice for me was the D300 from Nikon
