Bike Designs...

Ok so I don't know if this would go in the photo forum but I thought it fits some what ok here...
So I kinda get bored at work, and have been playing around with Photoshop A LOT. I made this pic, and I used the Ducati because there are no really good side shots of bikes anywhere in a good resolution. I make everything from scratch in the pic, only thing I didn't do is take a pic of the bike.
http://public.fotki.com/kemeiz/pictu...ucaticopy.html sorry i don't know how to post it without going to the link.
If you would like me to make something from your bike please e-mail or PM a pic of your bike...
Requirements:
-Has to be a side shot at eye level, no looking down or from an angle.
-Has to be somewhat good/high resolution so I can resize if need be
-Please don't change anything in the photo, like photohsop it yourself then send to me. Because if I wanted to change the way the light hits the bike or something then I can't.
-I only need 1-2 pics, if I don't think any of them will work I will let you know.
- TELL ME COLORS YOU WANT IN THE DESIGN, or if you just want to see what I come up with I can do that too. (certain days I am good, some days I can really suck) If I have some idea of what you are looking for, the more the better.
So that's it. Just thought it would be fun to do
IF YOU CAN'T SEE THE PICS, THEN JUST GO TO MY FOTKI SITE. THIS IS THE WEB PAGE. THE PICS WILL DISAPPEAR FROM TIME TO TIME AND I AM GETTING TIRED OF PUTTING THEM ALL BACK UP. THANKS.

Hunny, that looks great.

Any way of cleaning up the background of the wheels? As a finishing touch.

Ok I am getting questions about this already... I am not changing anything on the bike... unless it's something kinda small( color, add a lil something).... then maybe I can. The only thing I did was take a pic, cut out the bike, changed the lighting on it a lil, and I made the back ground.

Sorry.

What I mean is looking at say the rear tire. The sunburst bachdrop would seen in between the spokes of the rim.

Or in otherwords,

The gray area between the spokes (spokes are black) of the rim, would have the sunburst pattern.

It is a really great photoshop though.

i think it is, it's shiny like the bike and when I look at the original pic the back ground is grey. If that was not part of the bike, it would be flat. I don't know Ducati all that well... so....

A proper clipping path cannot be made with a lasso tool or, god forbid, the magic wand I would suggest you use the pen tool. This is one of the first tools a professional needs to learn. My teacher back in Photoshop 3 drilled this into our heads, I've hardly ever touched the lasso since.

Looks cool, but little tip:
When you cut stuff out, try to go in to the element like maybe one or 2 pixels and set your feather to 3, this will blur the edges a little and you will not see any jumps in lines.
Good job.

thanks for the tip.
Also .. I put an outer glow on the bike, so that's not the back ground. Some people are telling me that it is.. It's not. It's just an effect.
