cailin is the closest yet.

There are no repeats.

I didn't notice the rug on #9, but these things should always have a freebie

Another hint: I stated it was a tour of the loop. The Hancock is not in the loop

Those are some bang up photos!

You have a tilt issue with a couple of them.

I recognize a lot of those places, but I don't know there names. I could probably find them if I was riding my bike through the city (which is how I know them).

Funny, I grabbed a pamphlet on that tour a couple weeks ago while I was working at a hotel in Oak Brook. I thought it would be great for photos!

Thanks, many of them were just point and shoot as the tour wasn't stopping for me to take artsy-fartsy photos of everything in the city

But some I was able to take my time and setup a bit for some.

Chris, what resolution are you on? Using a phone to view them? lol

Well if you're using IE hit the little magnifying glass in the lower right-hand corner and shrink the entire window to 50% or 75%. I assume FF has the same feature.

15. I am not sure if you are asking where that light pole is or what the symbol means. The symbol is the two branchs of the Chicago river joining common on many Chicago things.

Bingo on the extra credit! And no I wasn't asking for the location of that exact lamp .

Can anyone name other places that the "Y" symbol appears in the city? It's actually quite common.

So far 2,4,5,6, and 9 have been correctly identified, and no one person ahs more than 3 correct.

To be fair, 2 of them I couldn't even remember the address and I took the photos LOL. I walked past both of them today on the way to work and made a note of their names.

nice pics.
if you like chicago architecture sometime on PBS they have a guy(geoffery something) that goes around to all the neighbor hoods of chiago and talk about the history and architecture. he does river arch tours show and even the suburbs. he pointed out the #15 being the symbol of the river, ever since then i see it all over down town.

Yeah, that's Geoffrey Baer and they air those specials quite often on WTTW-HD. I've learned a lot about the city from those. The book "The Devil in the White City" is also a really good source of Chicago architectural history.

Funny how you see that symbol all over downtown now that you know to look for them.
