Chicago Air Show photos

Like a huge dumbass, I left my new 70-300VR lens at home when heading into the city last week, so these were taken with my 18-200VR. The up-side was that I have a circular polarizer for this lens, so I was able to get some pretty rich, blue skies. I rarely crop my photos, but with the darker CPL I was taking everything wide-open and many of the photos had noticable vignetting, which I cropped out before the resize. Otherwise no color adjustments or stuff like that.

F-15 EAGLE

F-22 Raptor

The Heritage Formation

The Blue Angels

(Too much polarization on this one )

IMO the blue angels need to come up with a different routine. they do the same one every year its kind of boring now. fun to watch and hear the jets but mix it up alittle

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

They should add an F86 between the P-51 and the Phantom. Maybe F-100. There's a huge gap there, jet-orically speaking. They skipped the early jet fighter era (~Korean war).

The jets in that pic are the premier fighters of their eras though.

Nice pics-- as usual

Oops. Upon closer inspection, I have not sat in that exact plane, just that exact same plane with different tail numbers. Same paint job, even same numbers on the tail, but his has an "M" on it and the one in Jeff's photos has a "W"

Sorry for misleading you guys there. Anyways, heres some pics of that P-51.

And in case you were wondering, yes these were taken at my buddies wedding reception. Awesome reception with all the planes.

Tom a P-51 is a P-51, whether or not the letters match. I wish I could touch or sit in one, that is not of Remote Control scale

Nice pics, do you have a side or front pic?

Yeah, I have more, but after looking at the photos again, I now remember why I never bothered to post process them... They all suck compositionally.

The two I posted were the only two worth actually posting, and the first is rather bland to begin with. Planes are really hard to make look good while sitting still on the ground.

Anyways, I don't want to take away from Jeff's post so I'm not going to post up any more images in this thread.
