Photo Editing Software

Im looking for a basic program that's user friendly. I do not want a free program. I've never had any luck with those.

What's out there that working for you?

< $100

User friendly is an issue I've found with most photo programs. How much are you looking to do with your pictures? I know it's free but Picasa is about the easiest program out there and does offer some basic editing options. After that it starts to get more complex and un-friendly.

Check out GIMP, it may do what you need. Its also free.

Notice you didn't want free, but I'm still suggesting it.

Adobe Lightroom - I love it - I do all my preliminary post-processing in it before I export tiffs to Photoshop - very easy and has very powerfull features. The only thing that needs improvement is noise reduction, but even Photoshop lacks them, so there is noise ninja plug-in for both programs. Also great for organizing and archiving photos

Paint Shop Pro X2. Normally around $80 but has been on sale for $40-50 every so often at Best Buy.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

paint shop pro isn't nearly as easy to use as some of the more basic programs out there and is dead slow compared to Photoshop.

I'll suggest GIMP too. Its not crappy freeware.
Its a very mature app that was developed on Xwindows for unix /linux systems. They have ported it to Windows OSs. I like somethings better on it that the Photoshop 7 I'm still running at home.

According to me Magic Photo Editor is good photo editing software. With this photo editing software, you can easily blend your digital photo onto another image to create special effect. You can also add some pretty frames, flowers and cartoon pictures onto your photo with Magic Photo Editor. This software makes your photo more attractive and interesting.
