My KA Mixer is cobalt blue (matches my balls).. She will be 12 this August and it's as strong and as nice as the day I got it. Invaluable. You will use it for everything...just make sure you 'store' it somewhere handy... like pushed back from where you would normally use it; then there's no work to get it out/put it away (oh darn, slide 4 inches).and no excuse not to use it. Not a bad idea to have some extra bowls and another paddle on hand either, especially around Thanksgiving time.

Everyone Exaggerates

We're being taken for a ride... agaaaaaaain.....

I'm using one that's older than me. 56 years and still running strong. It was a wedding present to my mom. That's saying something about a great design. I'd just like a larger mixing bowl.

Cool, I have the white KA mixer, and we have a Krups Ice Cream machine. Kinda like that attachment though. The girls made ice cream three times this week.

Man that stuff tastes GOOOOOD!!

So Emily and I made our first batch of ice cream yesterday. We froze the bowl for 12 hours, pulled it out of the fridge, mixed ingredients for 30 minutes, and had french vanilla ice cream! It was sooooo good. Cleanup was easy too.

I highly recommend this for anyone with a mixer. I like how I got to see what ingredients go into it and now have a good knowledge of what to adjust to get the perfect taste for me. I can't wait to try to make some coffee ice cream. Or maybe mix in some girl scout cookies into one of the batches

You will realize that for getting married, the gifts should even be better than what you got. (Maybe more like an Ice Cream factory, and ownership of Kitchen Aide)
