pub burgers

I buy the two packs of pub burgers at Jewel. Anyone have any tips on spices. I'm thinking of trying some type of a brine to soak the meat since seasoning doesn't give all the meat any flavor.

Are these preseasoned round pattys? If not, you could season, mix and let sit in the fridge for a day before cooking. Might help the spices blend.

Those are pre-formed patties, but I agree with Jack - ground meats are so much more flavorful if they are seasoned a day ahead of time.

I don't know how much brining is going to help ground meat.

Once the meat is already ground? It might make it harder to stay together

Might have to throw an egg in there or some other protein to keep its form.

+1 I also throw on some Bayou Blast seasoning...and I usually let them sit overnight like Kimmie said...the longer the better flavour

that sounds good. So I decided to buy some pub burgers too. I put mine on a george foreman grill. Takes about 10min for well done. I put some worschicirerirrir sauce pepper. I'm still playing around with the spices. Ketchup, mayo, lettuce and tomatoe. I also toast the bun on the grill.

Want a good burger, go to a butcher and have him/her grind your meat right in front of you. Then add salt and pepper and be happy. Adding all that other shit is just a cover up for poor quality. A "real" butcher will know a proper fat to meat ratio also, so you will have a flavorful, juicy burger, nothing more, nothing less.

Listen to this man! He is King of the Pub Burger! Witman can open a resturant only serving 1 thing Pub Burgers and he would be rich.
