who else likes carnitas & nopales tacos

every once in a while i am in the mood to totally clog my heart

the one thing about living near joliet is good mexican food.

as some dont know i love to cook, and i am pretty dam good. so this morning after only having 4 hours of sleep i decided to go to one of the Mexican store in downtown joliet and pick up some carnitas and also the fixings to make nupales salad.

the carnitas were made fresh and they cook em right there also with many assorted styles of chicharon,

man i gonna have 1 hell of a good lunch today

Ken, I knew we were fated for each other Mexican breakfast is my crack, I swear. No one up there quite understands the joy of a breakfast taco.

Huevos con chorizo with refried beans, papas, and sliced avocado. Mmmmm. And corn tortillas.

I used to not like huevos rancheros, until I moved to SA and now I love em. I put the entire egg on my corn tortilla and anticipate biting into the runny yolk. yum!

There's also a place here that has this one taco called the Torres special taco-- refried beans, bacon, cheese, and sliced avocado.

You should teach husband boot camp. Train the boys to do it right. You profess sexual power, cook and bring coffee up to bed? Women would pay $$$ to have these things taught to their husbands.

I don't ride, I cook!

Ok so I need to move back to chicago...so when the weather gets bad there, maybe around late october, you can all drive down with your trailers and help me move, and in return I'll take everyone on a culinary tour of san antonio.
