Talking Share your favorite salad creation!

Since I'm always on the look out for interesting recipes I thought we'd start out with salads first.

My current favorite I've been bringing to get togethers is the following:

Spinach-Strawberry Salad

1 to 2 bags Spinach Greens- I prefer the packaged ones
1 to 2 pints of fresh strawberries-sliced
1 to 2 8oz. package of fresh mushrooms-sliced
1/8 cup Sunkist Oven Roasted Almond Accents-No salt
Wishbone Light Raspberry-Walnut Vinegarette
Crumbled Bleu Cheese

I usually do a spinach layer, then strawberry, then mushrooms, then almonds then blue cheese and then repeat the spinach, strawberry, mushroom, almonds and bleu cheese layer.

At home I usually toss the salad in the dressing right away but when I bring it to parties, I don't toss it and I bring it dry and just have everyone add their own amount of dressing. I usually like adding salad to my dressing personally, hehe.

We just tried this last week.

This is what I remeber, if you want a better description I'll have to get back to you.

Romain lettuce head, cut in half.
Ceaser salad dressing, and a couple other ingredients. spread over the cut half.
Grill halves for 4 min total, or until wilted, flipping occassionally.
Chop and serve.

This was a nice side salad. If you added chicken, it would make a nice meal.

I wonder if it would be good with beef as well. I'll let you know.

fixed it sorry, should have been .net not .com . It is for a salad place in bolingbrook. They have a subway style set-up and make custom salads, but also have a menu of featured creations. I thought someone might get some good ideas from the site.
