Tamale Review

Excellent.

What set these tamales apart was that the Masa actually had flavor. I always try different tamales and am always disappointed with the Masa because it is tasteless.

Esme they were fantastic!

I almost regret doing this because you will get popular and harder to score from.

Had them with eggs this morning.

As I said to her last night, she ought to start a side business. Even if it's just exclusively to CLSB folks, she'd make a killing!

Need feedback on the dessert ones... please.

I'd LOVE to try the strawberry or pineapple masa... a raisin & coconut filling however, doesn't sound nearly as appealing to me personally though. Mmmm... should start brainstorming on other "dessert" tamale filling ideas...

A quick Google search, and I'm seeing some interesting Cinnamon Apple tamales. There's also one with pecans, raisins, nutmeg, and cinnamon... that could be tasty too!

Ill take (1) dozen of the desert of whatever you choose, and (1) dozen plain if you could make it without any meat.

It's been too long since I've had a good tamale

I'll take six dozen of the non-dessert variety.
