A couple of small but kick ass places to eat i wanna share

so my life time friends have a neighbor that opened up a place to eat over in south elgin ..the place is called thai town

http://www.thaitown1.com/index.html

his family work and cooks up all the food...and let me tell you this...its FANTASTIC...by far some of the best places i have eaten at...everything is fresh...nothing frozen or mass packaged...i can not rave enough about this place...hell, when we r over and drinking at my freidns house and we get hungry, we have him make us up some food and bring it over to us, and man you can just go crazy eating this food...the pricing is great, and you get alot of food...and so far, there is NOTHING on the menu that i have not eaten and not liked...and i stuff my fat face there...

------------------------------------

the 2nd place is called:
Bien Trucha
410 W State St
Geneva, IL

**forgot to put kind of place it is...its a small little mexican restaurant...this place is a little hard to find...its set into a little tiny stripmall and you will walk right past it...(cause we did looking for it)...but also, the food in this place is FANTASTIC...its a bit pricey, and you dont seem to get as much as you would hope for to stuff yourself...but the taste and what they make is well worth it...its really small and you will be lucky to get a table, so dont expect to get there and just hop right into a table...it was cold in oct when we went and we sat outside under a heating lamp they have for the out door patrons that preferred to eat outside at their tables...and honestly, its worth it...cause inside gets really cramped from what we could see...but the margs these people made are absolutely great...but order 2 at a time because they do get so busy, that they cant get back you you right away...

hope this helps people looking for decent and quality places to eat...if i had to give a rating, i would put both on a rating level of 9 out of 10...and people that know me, know i like quality places and i dont like spending my money at crap places...so me giving them these high rates means its worth it for me to pass their info around because keeping small places like these open are WELL WORTH IT...

have fun eating people...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

Agree on Bien Trucha..... very nice.

Small inside, smaller portions, a little expensive.

That all said, the *quality* of the food is wonderful, it's Mexican Tapas.

Great Margaritas as well.

yea...we had 6 of us go there, and we all decided on ordering a single plate of something different for each of us, and then we all shared the food together...this is also a place where a single thing i ate did not dissapoint me with their food...yea, the helping are much smaller, but like we both said, the taste is fantastic...i had their oct marg and i had to have sucked down 5 of them bastards...then cause it was such a long wait for us and we were sitting outside and we took over the 2 outside tables, and then accidently spilt 3 whole shots of tequilla all over me, we had then next few rounds of drinks and food for free...

very friendly people there, and always trying to please you...they know how to try to keep their clients coming back...i actually want to go back there soon...but gotta sit inside...i can see going there on a sat or sunday in early afternoon and just eat and veg out...
