So what's on your Thanksgiving table?

I can't believe no one started this thread yet.... What are you making for Thanksgiving??

I ususally have the great fortune to go to my mother's for Thanksgiving, but this year we are staying in San Antonio and I am hosting the future in laws. So this will be my frist time hosting Thanksgiving.

- Turkey-- rollled, stuffed turkey breast (bought a 4 lb turkey breast and had the butcher debone and butterfly it)
- Oyster Stuffing (with fresh TX gulf Oysters...and I'm not sure if that's scary or not)
- Sweet Potato Souffle (with sugared pecans on top)
- Cream cheese Mashed Potatoes
Jellied Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce from a can (it's my culinary weakness)
- Homemade gravy (I made homemade stock from my turkey bone and will use it to make giblet gravy with giblets the butcher gave me)
- Chocolate Pie (and yes, I made the crust myself)

Not a giant feast, and not at all complicated, but it will at least be 99% homemade and should make for a nice meal. I am looking forward to it.

What's on your table??

Nothing.

I'll have the house to myself (well, me and two dogs) and wouldn't have it any other way. I usually don't eat very well when I'm home alone though.

We take turns hosting holidays in my family. My sister is hosting Thanksgiving this year, we are going to Cracker Barrel. They have a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, pie and your drink for $9. We are then going back to her house for games, and snacks later in the day. She has a daughter that is in the Navy and she just wasn't up to cooking, it's her first holiday without all 4 of her kids at home.
I'm hosting Christmas and we are having apple pecan stuffed cornish game hens, fingerling potatos and greenbeans. I will make bourbon chocolate pecan pie, homemade apple cranberry pie and a cookie tray. I do a layer dip with sundried tomotos, fresh basil and walnuts all layered with cream cheese served with crackers and toasted bread rounds.

I don't ride, I cook!

I am grilling two bone in turkey breasts and then all the normal business, mashed taters, creamed corn, biscuits, stuffing. Case of Cabernet, oh yeah and Aria White Port afterwards.

I hate you. I was desperately licking the neck of the white wine bottle yesterday after I emptied it into my turkey stock

Oh good thinking! Let your dogs attack him so you don't have to deal with the hassle of going to jail.

I smoked a 17lb turkey. It came out awesome. Other than that it was all the normal thanksgiving stuff: mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, 2 different stuffings, etc.
