Thanks Tony. That is about what I figured. I didn't check, is it extra $?
Mopar, you got your Crackberry on the brain. BTW, someone still needs to set it up and the Treo is cheaper, does more, and I'm used to it.
Uniball, the modem function seems to be pretty slick. Once set up, all you do is plug the phone into it's HotSynch port, connect to the laptop via the USB and launch the software.

Versa is pretty easy to setup. I do have to perform a "get" like Tony said but it works pretty good. I've never used it as a modem though.
I have the 680 for AT&T.

I use getgood on my 650 to sync in real time with my companies exchange server. Although I have no idea how to set it up on the server side. I do know that it works awesome. Gives me complete access to our global address book, and my email is real time, without having to hit "get" etc like in versa mail which I use for my gmail account.
it's also a much slicker looking interface with more functionality. It gives you a whole new today screen automatically that includes all your appts as well.

Sprint Treo 755p Questions / GetGood vs. Versamail
My Treo 650 was doing little weird things after 3 years of hard use. I could have sent it in for service and got a rebuilt one for about $50 or I could pick up a new 755p for $200. Geee, go figure what Mr. Boys with Toys did?
I really liked that I could use it as a modem for my notebook when I'm not near a wifi hotspot and taps into Sprint's high speed data network. Although the deed is done, I'm looking for feedback from anyone with one on pros/cons and neat applications.
I do have 1 specific question. I've been using BizConnect to get my office email. It looks like the 755p can pull email from my exchange server via Versamail or something called GetGood. Is anyone familiar with using either service? I've got my IT guy coming by Thursday to put some patches on Exchange ActiveSync and set me up and would like to know my options vs. just going with his recommendation. He was not familiar with GetGood. Frankly, I think I can re-install BizConnect if I really want, but going off the server vs. my desktop is more elegant.
A little help please.
