One of the gals in our purchasing department just gave her 4 week notice today. Her last day is November 21st. I figured I'd post up here now and start getting resumes to my boss ASAP so we don't get stuck in a situation where I have to do triple my work and try to train someone after this girl is gone.
Details:
Position is entry level
Lots of pricing discrepancies & verifications
Updating PO's - ship dates, order #'s, tracking info, etc..
Processing all air shipments and expedites
Vendor price changes
Along with lots of other inventory maintenance
Some days are slow, some days are non-stop
Environment is pretty good and fairly relaxed
All around a decent place to work
In Addison off of North Ave & Addison Road
- minutes from bike night location
Earliest start date would probably be November 17th... That is if they even take advantage of the early notice and start too look.
Not sure on the pay... It's entry level so I don't think it'll be anymore that $14/hr.
