STOLEN:Red 26ft Haulmark trailer **FOUND**

I dont have a pic, but its a red 26ft Haulmark trailer with LAKE CYCLE in white vinyl on all sides. There was 5 new motorcycles inside.

VTX1300T
VTX1300R
VTX1800F
GL1800
CB250 Nighthawk

It was taken around 11:45 sunday night, from the dealership in Merrillville, IN, by 3 individuals in a white heavy duty dodge ram 4-door. possibly a diesel truck.

7911 Taft St
Merrillville, IN 46410

turn right out of your dealership.. head north about 10 miles.. when you get to the end of the road turn left or right.. drive around a bit.. it's over there
im sure you'll find it.. you can see through most of the buildings in that town.. so even if it is inside you might be able to see it..
maybe the guys at " in the wind" are having a bon fire with the reliable bikes they hate so much.. might wanna stop in there... cover your colors
:)

also, we found how they got the tongue open. id rather not post details, but if you have a trailer sitting somewhere, get a lock that shields the lever that locks the ball down, and dont rely on the one that locks the lever down.

That always looked pretty easy to get past to me.

Sorry to hear about the theft.

Kankakee Police have found it. no reports of contents or damage.
Keep us updated. Sucks to hear it got stolen. I went through this a few years back with a buddies boat.

awesome they got it, hopefully, bikes are still there. AND I HOPE they got fingerprints. this is a big time (money) crime.

Yamaha in countryside had their trailers stolen years back.

i left work before they were off the phone with the police, but the cops were asking for VIN numbers, so id imagine the bikes are in there still. that or they found a crapload of other bikes and need to pick ours out of there.

none of the bikes were tied down in the trailer as we used it for storage of bikes that were doubles of what was already on the floor, so first left turn they made i imagine was quite loud as all the bikes were just sidestanded in there.

we'll know more in the morning.

maybe someone could put **FOUND** in the thread title.
