I know most of you are tight lipped, tight pocketed, stay in your gentlemen's club sipping whiskey types:)lmao:), but what is everyone investing in? The Market has done me some good, mostly I invested in mutual funds, and maxed my roth, but I did throw some money at GE and C, and have seen a return of about 40%. Not too bad. Anyone else care to comment? I'm always looking for the next boomer!

Wamu.

Yes, penny stock. But hear me out. Bought in at around .10, it shot up to .39 a couple weeks ago. Nice hefty return.

But also IRA and a few US Bonds.

Dumped as much as I could into my 401K with my company while it was at rock bottom (still not a whole lot though). Stock got as low as 3.33 and is up to 26.60 now (HIG). That was in 7 month period. Still got a lot of room to grow too.

I just recently bought 50K shares of a company called Universal Detection Technology at .0099 so a $500 investment. I'm not looking to sell for less than 75 cents a share.

2 good mutual funds:

AMAGX
AFATX

Look them up. They have some well-rounded investments. I am up 15% on both this year. They also allow low entry investments. I think $500.00 and $250.00 respectively. No load. No fee.

I was pleasantly surprised to see my MF jumped 15% in the last quarter. (ABWBX).

I'm mostly investing in myself and my company so that when it turns, we're ready. For those out there looking for work or more money, invest in yourself (training, education, fitness). Those are especially good now because its something that you can control.

Now, where did I put my smoking jacket? :1pimp

Raw materials have been doing pretty well the last few quarters.

Wish I got in sooner, but Google (GOOG) has double from it's 52 week low nearly a year ago.

Not holding any of it, but Walgreen's (WAG) has also almost doubled it's 52 week low from March '09.
