I always had cats growing up and we got 2 new kitties last week. I really believe you get what you pay for with stuff and I don't want to buy them the cheap food.. but not the most expensive either.
The one cat is 2.5 years old and the other is 6-7 months old. They get along great, play great and also eat together so no way of having 2 bowls for them. So what's a good cat food to use? Cats I had in the past I just got whatever was on sale.

My partner is part-owner of a veterinary practice... he brings home Eukanuba for my "kids".

I buy the expensive shit...EVO

recommend it as well

I used to use Nutro, but after their recall fiasco, I switched to By Nature for wet food and Blue Spa Select for dry food. IMO, any holistic food should be good enough.

Both cats have great fur (one long hair and one short hair) and seem to be pretty healthy. They used to barf/cough up hairballs on the Nutro, but not as much with this food. All cats are different though, so it might take some trial and error to find what works.

I've fed my dogs Nutro since pups. Yes I know not cats but 2nd recommendation for Nutro products

I make this food for my sweet cat.
Cat Food Recipe Ingredients:
7 oz mashed sardines
1/4 cup dry non-fat milk
1/2 cup wheat germ
Cat Food Recipe Directions:
Mix ingredients. Roll into 24 small balls. Placed on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
We hope your cats enjoy this yummy cat food recipe

Our male ragdoll kitten has been on Nature's Variety raw chicken for a while now. We started him out on Wellness canned, but he's stool was a runny mess. Not fun for long-haired cats. We've tried Stella & Chewy's raw food as well as another I forget; he seems to like the NV's chicken best. He hated the raw beef mixture.

The raw stuff is not that expensive, and it's 100% more nutritional than the grain and veggie filled filled junk like Fancy Feast. Check this webpage out for more information: http://www.felineoutreach.org/Education/Nutrition.html

Does anyone know a wet indoor cat food? Nibbler lubs it but gets hairballs without the indoor formula...:wonder
You might want to look into Wellness, Petco/smart/land/etc carries it, as well as speciality stores. Our kitten loved that stuff, mostly the chicken and chicken/turkey blends.
