*Update* So I have done some analysis, and I will probably have some 3D models available to view and a complete design by 4/18/2010. A discount will be given to the first individual that purchases at least the Kit form, provided they will allow a full photoshoot of the unit. This price will be about $150 + the price of the harbor freight trailer.
I will also have solid pricing on options ranging from a KIT form which requires drilling and full assembly as well as you providing the trailer, to a fully built unit.
Initial calculations will put the kit at around $300~$350 and the fully built unit from $550-$650.
Please feel free to PM me with any questions. I hope this sparks some serious interests with you folks!!!!!
Original Post:
If I was able to design a single bike motorcycle trailer with the following features...
1. Under 175lbs without a motorcycle.
2. Can be disassembled in about 5 minutes so that it can easily be stored vertically in a garage and occupy no more space than a roll around tool box.
3. Can be towed with a compact car due to a very light tongue weight with no impact on driveability.
4. Is no longer than the motorcycle itself.
5. Can be wheeled around by hand WITH a motorcycle fully loaded onto the bed.
...and sell for a price of between $450~$500 in kit form shippable to any of the continental US, do you think I would have a market for that?
If not, please feel free to throw out your ideas.
