Finally!!! joined the 100 mile/month club!!! After 98 in December and 97 in January I hit 115 this month. So I guess technically I did more than 300 miles in the last three months! :)

That's all, no big deal for some of you I guess but I thought I'd share. :)
Damn you guys for discontinuing the clsb monthly run challenges!!! Lol!!

Next month I'm going for 150! :)

Ankle is doing good. It's been getting a little soar yet on long runs but nothing I can't run through. Thanks :)

This time of year it's mostly a nylon belt! Lol. I run on the road and will do some trail running though when the weather gets nicer

Bahahahaha Tom you Bastid! :)

I assure you all of my equipment is well calibrated, and ALL of it was at a slight grade! I'd rather be doing this mostly outside. It would be a HELL of a lit easier than putting that kind of mileage on a treadmill! :)

Yeah I hear ya...the hamster wheel makes distance a true effort in dedication:laughing

Wait till you get back outside regularly and try to go forward!;)

Man I used to run outside rain/shine/sleet/snow...I can remember a few times getting back to the dorms in college with icicles hanging off my super hip goatee. I can also remember being really nervous about hitting ice on the sidewalks at 3am!

...oh yeah, and I used to cuss...loudly...at the wind. Seriously:laughing

So when's the first big race?

That's why I always run at a slight incline on the treadmill. Otherwise all you have to do is lift your legs. :) I've put lots of miles on the road and treadmill. I've got it worked out where I'm actually faster on the road than I am with the treadmill set up the way I have it. Plus I do run outside as well. It's been a bad winter this year. Most weekends were snowy and or icy. I'd prefer not to roll that ankle again. :) trust me, I know the difference between outside and inside miles. My inside miles are way harder because of how I set up the treadmill and how I use the controlled environment to run intervals. :) I actually cant wait to run outside more. It's much easier! Lol

Ha...yeah I figured you had it covered.

I've been thinking of giving the treadmill a try on the knee. Without any incline it's pretty low impact...I dunno though. I don't know if I want to push it.

Very cool, Brian. That's a sh*t-ton of miles you've put on the last few months.

I've been running outside a couple of times a week all winter. As long as it was above 24 I was running. The only time I took off was the month when I injured my leg snowboarding.

Was this all at Lifetime or did you get a treadmill at home?

Thanks Chills

During the week I've been running at the gym downtown. My long runs have been on the treadmill at lifetime on Sundays after masters swim. Some was outside too but very little this month.
