That time of year again - Come out and support a great cause - The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation hosts a "Ride For Kids" every year to raise money and it is a GREAT ride - The Cops block off every intersection on the hour long ride and you go through about 10+ towns so you never have to stop at a light or anything - People come out and cheer you on and it is just a cool ride - Usually about 2000 bikes and all types of bikes are welcome

Here is some info on the ride:

Here is some info on the Charity itself:

Hope to see some of you there

Bump for a great ride and cause.

Bug, I take it your back is doing well enough to ride this event?

If so I'll keep my eye open for ya.
Yeah Bro - The HD never really hurts it too bad - It was the MX that took me to pain town

Me and my team (guys who pool our donations for one big one) are meeting at Sbux on the corner of North & Wells at 7:30 with a 7:45 roll out and picking up more choads at the McD Oasis off 90 at 8:15 - Old slow dudes on Harleys so nothing balls out at all and we have no patience so we will not wait

If anyone from the City wants to tag along or even meet us at the oasis, there ya have it - Otherwise, hope some of y'all can make the ride - It really is pretty damn cool :1pimp

I'll be there too ... see you at Elgin Community College! I hope they have a LOT of water, it's gonna be hella hot, and I might have to resort to riding in speedos and flip-flops! :)

ha. I might have been the guy that taged you with a green bracelets :)

Thank you all for coming out. It was HOT, but a great ride and a good cause.

To make it even sweeter, for me, my oldest kid was with me. Yes, I did find a full face Shoei XXS that fitted him just right :)

I went and dropped off the donations I collected, but didn't stay for the actual ride. It was just way too hot. :(

The Chicago event raised $222,595 ... not too shabby ... but not as good as previous years.

Give my 2 stones and I could hit my house from where most of the pictures where taken.

Suprisingly the ride wasn't all that brutal. They did a good job keeping it flowing.

My kids would like to thank all of you who honked/waved as they went by.

Good seeing ya Bug.
