Looks like Apple and Foxconn are not the only ones......Samsung via HEG get popped for underage workers and conditions.

On the bright side, news like this would have never surfaced just a few years ago. Fading is the excuse that big brand names use that they are not to blame since they contract out. Problems like this now get out more quickly due to the web. Per the report it looks like the big companies are making an effort to make sure things are on the up and up but as long as they contract out their work they will never have complete control to oversee things and insure standards are followed. Especially when the contracted companies seem to make a noted effort to hide and keep things from their big customers.

Cannot help but to wonder if Apple in some way shape or form helped fund this sting to elevate them of some heat and put it on their largest competitor.............Samsung.

It's a shame this won't get nearly as much attention as it would if it were Apple in the title. IMO, Samsung is by far worse than Apple, but they just don't get as much PR.

Here's a few examples:

Mass Scale Price Fixing
Fraud/Tax Evasion
Bribery
Corruption
Deaths from Toxic Chemicals

This is not to say that Apple isn't guilty of a lot of this stuff as well, but they whenever something says "Foxconn" in it, it automatically becomes a huge news story. I haven't noticed the same with Samsung.
