We're going to take the M-Class test tomorrow and there's a chance of rain. We're going to head up there anyway.

Does anyone know if they will still conduct the tests of it sprinkles on and off, or do they just cancel testing if it rains?

No, this isn't MSF Kimmie...It's just the DMV's M-Class test.

My money's too wrapped up in Ken's track days to take an MSF course! :rofl

:laughing

So does the DMV conduct M-Class tests if it's raining? I was hopin' maybe we'd get some freebies out there due to the road conditions. ;)

I know for a FACT the DMV will not run motorcycle M-class driving tests if there is ANY water on the blacktop. I went a few weeks back after a Friday night rain and there was like 2 puddles in the parking lot the next morning and they said no tests.

I even called the other local places and same answer. It's not looking good for tomorrow...

Walk-ons are free! :) Even the one's who get in early, it's only a deposit. You CAN write back to MSF for your money back, just most people don't.

Rachel,

MSF is a free class. We charge $20.00 only as a deposit. At the end of the class we always give people an option to get their twenty back. If not, money goes towards maintaining those bikes and equipment. With ,what'shis name in springfield, taking money out of MSF fund as he pleases MSF can use some donations.

As far as taking a test in the rain. Not sure about DMV. At MSF we don't care:) if it rains a little, or alot for that matter:evil

I hope you haev a little bike for the test. let me know what DMV test consist of and I might be able to give you a few short cuts.

I don't think they will set up the cones or conduct the tests in the rain.
Yup... any excuse not ot go outside o na hot day, the DMV will take. I'm sure there are soem good people that wor kat these places, but maybe it's from too much exposure ot the general public, but I've met the largest concentration of impersonal and unfriendly people at the DMV than anywhere else in my life.

I took the MSF class and we did test in the rain. I can say that I did learn a lot about how much you can do with wet pavement. Good luck and remember to keep the rubber side down. 1 drop and you have to retake the class. Good Luck!

that's in the job description, it's the same way when you go into the post office, your mailman might be a nice guy, but the people that work at the office have been programmed to only have one tone of voice, it's like mental conditioning. Scary isn't it?

Kind Hard get spot now!!

I took the MSF course myself. Had to go down to southern IL to take it all the ones were filled up here. Had the worse cold in my life.

:confused MSF Classes have always been free thru the state. I say you lay off the booze Rachel, I think it's frying up your neurons.:laughing JK.

But seriously though, all you need to reserve your spot is a $20.00 deposit, and you can choose to get it back after the class or donate it. Both times Shane and I have gone, we've donated and gotta a couple of shirts for it!:thumbsup
