So, I'm sitting here posing at the Starbucks in Santa Barbara, CA with ... well, I'll tell you all about the bikes in a later post...

Just wanted to inform you all that in California... if it says 10% chance of precipitation... IT MEANS A DOWN POUR!!! I'm soaked, cold, and drinking coffee... but at least I brought my laptop so I could talk to you guys (a.k.a. check mapquest and work often)!

Later on all... off to more wet adventures in So. Cal!

Wet Adventures ;) Well have a good time, whats left of it. Lookin forward to hearing the entire story.

I'm sure its a lot warmer though..riding in 40 degree, wet weather here in Chicago isnt exactly enjoyable.

Would you believe me if I told you that IT IS EXACLY the same here... COLD... WET... YUCKERS! Just the bonus is that it's MUCH better scenery!

and i thought corn fields were scenic.....gotta love the midwest =)

stay warm..have fun =)

I was there last week - in San Jose. On Thursday, I rented Harley and took off to Santa Cruz mountains and then up on the higway 1 to Half Moon Bay and back on skyway - rt 35.

If you are going to ride north from Santa Clara, I strongly recommend rt. 9 - Santa Cruz to Saratoga - most insane twisties, I've seen.

I'll buy you a beer when you get back.
And a lap dance.
Well... since you said that you would BUY me a beer... and just suggested the lap dance, I will assume that YOU will be giving the dance to me personally.... ;)

I didnt see the sun for 4 whole days, and it never got above 70 degrees.
That is exactly what we experienced on Monday. All ogf the weather reports were calling for partly cloudy, and in the 70's. Instead it was rainy/drizzly/cloudy and in the 50's :( Luckily the weather got better the rest of the trip. :)

Although, I did zip over the mountain range via the Ortega Hwy. to Sun city on Sunday(about 35 miles away), and it was sunny and 80 there .... go figure.
