Nope, but then again, my house is surrounded by the North Korean Army so it's not even possible. Although, yesterday, i kept thinking about other ways of getting my bike stolen, such as someone hitting me over the head while stopped at a light. Anyone have any stories as such?

It was College and the bike was a POS and on it's last leg - It was semister end as well so I was kinda happy in a way

not me but a guy I work with lived in the city, kept his bike in a garage with dogs and all. never had a problem, until the one day he was warming it up getting ready to leave when he felt a gun barrel under his chin. bastards waited for him to warm it up and everything

:eek That is f'n scary! When i'm going home i circle around the area (alleys) to check if there are any fuckers waiting. I live in a dead end with an alley at the end, which is super dark, so i always double check before i approach my house.

Yeah. :(

In 1990, while taking a night school class at College of Lake County, my pearl white EX500 (todays Ninja 500) with a rockin' gold stripe was stolen from the parking lot.

I loved it (my very first new bike) but c'mon. . . this thing was not a great looking bike and the performance was lacking at best! :laughing Who steals a white EX500?! :rofl

Yes, I still miss her...

1990 Honda CBR 1000F

Had this beauty during the Gulf War and rode it in many parades and tribute functions....Lived in an apartment in Florida and rented a covered garage 75 feet away from my first floor apartment... Came out one Monday morning only to find her gone.. She was locked down with 2 rotor locks & a chain to a steel pole that help up structure. They cut it all, left rotors on the ground, right next to her was my girlfriends YSR 50 pit bike, with just a little BS chain, they didnt even touch it......

My heart dropped when I walked out to see her gone....

Excuse me!!!!!!:( :( :( :(

I've stolen hundreds of bikes...

usually I run up to them with my Chain saw, and do an elbow move and knock them off while jumping on and taking off. of course then I ride around doing wheelies and stoppies crashing numerous times till the bike finally blows up and then I steal another one. Ahhh the good old days in Liberty City but then my friend tubs double crossed me and I had to kill him.

that phrase makes it sound like someone made arrangements for it to be stolen, I've always found that funny.
Yes, not the best way to word that question

Last year, my 03 600RR was stolen. Sucks big donkey balls! But I'm all healed up now with my 06 1000RR. Its the worst feeling in the world to see the spot where your baby used to be parked. And you know it was stolen, your heart just breaks. I still think about it when I walk my the spot it used to be parked in, just hoping...

:laughing no, but I have left it out on the driveway overnight by mistake, walked out to the garage in the morning and THOUGHT it was stolen.:bangin

Yup...it's one of those things that happens and you say to yourself "Ahhh, now all that shit my dad's done that seemed strange at the time makes sense"

Lesson learned...i get odd responses for some of the precautions i now take from people that haven't experienced a bike theft...it'll all make sense someday:)

I block mine in the garage with my car. Unless they can figure out how to lift a 530lb bike over a car, I should be okay.

If it did get stolen, I don't think I would even care that much as long as I didn't see it again.
